  • What is Ditansource?
    Ditansource is a global online platform that connects businesses and independent professionals commonly referred to as freelancers or interns. The platform allows clients to post job opportunities and projects, and freelancers and interns to apply for these jobs and work on them remotely.
    Clients can choose to work with freelancers on a short-term or long-term basis, and freelancers can set their rates and hours. Ditansource also offers tools and features to help freelancers manage their work, such as time tracking, invoicing, and communication tools.

Account

  • How to change your Legal Name?
    You can change your legal name by clicking the edit legal name option on the account page. After clearing your name your tax information will be checked again.
  • Can I change my Tax Information after verification?
    You will not be able to change it. It can be edited before verification.
  • How can I change the password for my profile?
    Right now there is no explicit option to change the password. However you can change it through forgot password link that comes on sign up page.

Freelancer/Intern 

  • Is Ditansource going to provide work for me?
    Ditansource just connects freelancers/interns with potential clients who have projects that match their skills and expertise. Ditansource does not provide work directly to freelancers/interns but rather facilitates the process of finding work opportunities. It is up to the freelancers/interns to apply for and secure projects through the platform.
  • I am a Freelancer, how will Ditansource work for me?
    Ditansource is a platform for freelancers to find new projects, showcase their skills and portfolio, and manage their work and payments. To get started on Ditansource, freelancers should create a detailed profile, search for jobs that match their skills, submit proposals, communicate with clients, complete the work, and build their reputation. Ditansource provides communication tools, time tracking, and invoicing tools to help freelancers manage their work and get paid.
  • How do I get a higher score on my profile?
    Getting a higher score on your profile can help you stand out to potential clients on Ditansource. Here are some tips to improve your profile score:
    Complete your profile: Make sure your profile is complete and up-to-date. This includes adding a professional profile picture, writing a detailed and informative bio, and listing your skills and experience.
    Get verified: Many freelance platforms offer a verification process to confirm your identity and skills. Being verified can help improve your profile score and increase your credibility with clients.
    Maintain a high job success rate: Your job success rate is a measure of your success on the platform, based on feedback from clients and the completion of jobs. Maintaining a high job success rate can help improve your profile score and increase your chances of getting hired.
    Respond promptly: When a client reaches out to you, make sure to respond promptly and professionally. This can help demonstrate your reliability and professionalism to potential clients.
    Build your portfolio: Creating a strong portfolio of your work can help showcase your skills and experience to potential clients. Make sure to highlight your best work and include detailed descriptions of each project.
    Request feedback: After completing a job, request feedback from your client. Positive feedback can help improve your profile score and increase your chances of getting hired in the future.

  • I accepted the Invite but haven’t heard back from the client, what should I do next?
    Sometimes clients are busy and may not be able to respond right away. If you are not selected, you will be notified. It’s important to be patient and wait for a response before taking any further action.
    Reach out to us: If you have followed up with the client and haven’t received a response for an extended period, you can reach out to our support team for assistance.
    Consider canceling: If you still haven’t received a response after following up and waiting for a reasonable amount of time, you may want to consider applying to other projects.
  • I applied for an Internship and completed my milestone, but I haven’t received any payment yet. What should I do?
    Please make sure that you have marked your milestone as complete and that the client has verified it. After that you have to wait for 7 days for the payment to transfer, if that’s not the case please email us the details at contact@ditansource.com

Client

  • I am a client, how will Ditansource work for me?
    Ditansource is a platform that connects clients with freelancers from around the world. As a client, you can create a job posting that describes the work you need done and set a budget and timeline for the project. You can then search for freelancers on Ditansource using specific keywords and criteria, or invite freelancers to apply for your job. Once you receive proposals from freelancers, you can review their qualifications, experience, and samples of their work. You can also communicate with them to ask questions and clarify details.
    When you’ve chosen a freelancer to work with, you can discuss the project details, timeline, and payment terms before starting work. Ditansource provides tools to help you manage the project, such as time tracking and collaboration tools, and you can communicate with your freelancer throughout the project using Ditansource’s messaging system.
  • How does Freelancer work for clients?
    Clients can post job listings and receive proposals from freelancers who are interested in working on their projects.
    Sign up: Clients can sign up for an account on Ditansource and create a profile that showcases their company and project requirements.
    Post project: Clients can post a project by providing details such as project description, budget, and timeline.
    Hire a freelancer: Once a freelancer is selected, the client can start working with them and make payments through the Freelancer platform. Clients can communicate with the freelancer and track project progress through the platform.
    Payment and review: Once the project is complete, the client can release the payment to the freelancer through the platform. They can also leave a review for the freelancer, which helps build their reputation on the platform.
  • How do I rate and write a review for a Freelancer?
    You can only review the Freelancer when the project has ended.
    Click on the “ongoing project” page on the client pad.
    After clicking on the desired project you will see the freelancer information at the bottom.
    Click on the end project button.
    After that, you’ll be shown the fields to review and rate the freelancer.
  • What if a Freelancer fails to complete my project?
    Try to communicate with the freelancer and determine if any issues are preventing them from completing the project.
    If the freelancer is unresponsive or unable to complete the project, you can raise a dispute.
    Ditansource’s dispute resolution team will review your case and try to reach a fair solution that meets the terms of your project agreement.
    In severe cases of non-performance, you may also be able to leave a negative review or rating for the freelancer on the platform, to warn other clients about their lack of professionalism.

Client- Projects

  • How do I post a project?
    Log in to your Ditansource account, you can sign up and create a new account if you don’t already have one. Check out  Ditansource | Sign-up-with-email-verification  for more details.
    Click on the “Add a Project” in the client.
    Select the project type that best matches the type of work you need to be done.
    Provide a clear and concise project title and description that outlines your requirements and expectations.
    Set your budget and project duration. You can choose to set a fixed price or hourly rate.
    Review your project details and make sure everything is accurate and complete.
    Click on the “Submit” button to submit your project.
    Once your project is posted, Ditansource will match it with qualified freelancers who have the skills to complete your project.
    You can then choose the one that best matches your project requirements and Budget.

  • How do I hire a Freelancer directly for my project?
    Click on the “Invite Freelancers” button after adding a project.
    Search for freelancers using filters related to your project or browse through freelancer profiles.
    Review the freelancer’s profile, work experience, ratings, and reviews to determine if they are a good fit for your project.
    Click on the “Invite” button to invite the freelancer for your project.
    You’ll be asked to make a payment to escrow, which will be held by Freelancer until the project is completed.
    The freelancer will start working on your project, and you can communicate with them through the Freelancer messaging system to track progress and provide feedback.
    Once the project is completed, review the work and release payment from escrow to the freelancer.
  • How do I edit a project after an intern/freelancer has started applying to it?
    It’s important to remember that making significant changes to your project after freelancers have already applied can impact their interest in the project.
    Therefore, Ditansource does not give the option to edit a project after posting.
    You can end the project and repost it after making the changes.
  • How do I invite a freelancer to apply to my project?
    You can go to the invite freelancer page.
  • What is an Hourly Project?
    An hourly project is a type of project that is priced and paid based on the number of hours that the freelancer spends working on the project. In this type of project, the client sets a budget for the total number of hours that they want the freelancer to work.
  • How do I post an Hourly Project?
    Posting an hourly project on Ditansource is a straightforward process that can be completed in a few simple steps:
    Log in to your account: Log in to your Client account using your existing login credentials.
    Click on the “Post a Project” button: Go to the “Post a Project” section of the platform and click the button to create a new project.
    Select the “Hourly” project type: On the next page, select the “Hourly” project type.
    Fill out the project details: Fill out the project details, including the project title, description, skills required, and budget.
    Set the hourly rate: Specify the hourly rate that you’re willing to pay for the work.
    Publish the project: Review the project details and make any necessary changes, then click the “Submit” button to post the project on Ditansource.
  • For how many hours can I hire a freelancer?
    On Ditansource, there is no limit to the number of hours that you can hire a freelancer. You can hire a freelancer for as many hours as you need to complete your project, as long as you have the budget to pay for the work.
  • How do I provide feedback for an Hourly project?
    You can only provide feedback when the project has ended.
    Click on the “ongoing project” page on the client pad.
    After clicking on the desired project you will see the freelancer profile at the bottom.
    Click on the end project button.
    After that, you will be shown fields to review the freelancer and rate the freelancer.
  • How do I cancel a project?
    Click on the Projects/Internships on the client pad.
    You’ll see all the projects or internships that you’ve created so far.
    Click on the project that you want to end.
    On the bottom, you’ll see a button called end project through which you can end that project.

Client- Milestone

  • How do I create a Milestone?
    Milestones typically include a specific task or set of tasks, a deadline, and a deliverable or outcome that must be achieved before the milestone is considered complete. Freelancers and clients often use milestones to ensure that the project is progressing as planned and to provide a way to measure success and evaluate the quality of the work.
    To create milestones for a project go to Add Milestones.
  • How do I release a Milestone Payment?
    Once you’ve created the milestone you will see an option to pay from there you can pay from multiple payment methods.

  • How do I divide a Milestone Payment into parts?
    There will only be one payment for each milestone. You can determine the payment based on work done in the given milestone.
  • How do I cancel a Milestone?
    A milestone can only be canceled if the payment is yet to be done.
    You can click the cancel button under the milestone.
  • Should I create a Milestone Payment immediately after creating a milestone?
    Yes. It is recommended to create a milestone payment immediately after creating a milestone. This helps ensure that both parties are clear on the expectations and deliverables for that particular milestone and that the payment will be released once those expectations have been met. It can also provide a level of protection for both parties, as it ensures that the funds are available and ready to be released once the work is completed satisfactorily.
  • Can I make an advance payment to a Freelancer?
    No. The payment will only be given after the completion of a milestone.

Dispute Resolution Service

  • What is the Dispute Resolution Service?
    The Dispute Resolution Service is a service provided by Ditansource that helps to resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise between clients and freelancers during a project. Through this service, we review the details of the dispute and attempt to find an impartial and equitable solution for both parties. This service can help resolve disagreements over payment, project scope, deadlines, and other issues that may arise during a project.
  • How do I file a dispute on my project?
    Once the freelancer marks the completion of the project you can raise a dispute instead of verifying the freelancer.
  • Can I dispute work that does not relate to a project?
    Generally, you cannot dispute work that does not relate to a project. Dispute resolution services on Ditansource are typically designed to handle disputes related to specific projects and the work that was done within the scope of those projects. If you have a dispute with a freelancer or client that does not relate to a project, you may need to seek a resolution outside of the platform’s dispute resolution process. However, if the work that is not related to the project was done by the freelancer during the project, and you have evidence to support your claim, you may be able to file a dispute related to the project for work that was not done in accordance with the project requirements. It’s important to review the specific terms and policies of the platform and seek guidance from Ditansource’s support team if you have any questions or concerns.
  • Can I submit more evidence after the dispute has been escalated to Arbitration?
    It is important to keep in mind that we have the final say in the outcome of the dispute and that submitting additional evidence does not guarantee a favorable outcome.
    If you are unsure about whether you can submit additional evidence or if you need help with the arbitration process, you can contact the Ditansource support team for assistance.
  • What steps should I take to correct an error that occurred as a result of an accidental click or an amount entered incorrectly on your platform?
    If you accidentally clicked on the wrong button or typed the wrong amount, the best course of action is to contact Ditansource’s support team immediately. They will be able to review the situation and provide guidance on how to correct any mistakes or errors.
  • I lost the dispute! Can I file for reconsideration?
    No. The best course of action is to contact Ditansource’s support team immediately. They will be able to review the situation and provide guidance on how to correct any mistakes or errors.

Freelancer- Milestone

  • What happens if I can’t complete a milestone on time?
    Communicate with the client: The first step is to communicate with the client and let them know about the   delay. Explain the reason for the delay and when you expect to be able to complete the milestone.
    Extend the deadline: If you need more time to complete the milestone, you can ask the client to extend the deadline by     going to the “Milestones” section of the project page and clicking on the “Extend Date” button.                           
  • How do I get paid?
    The payment will be automatically transferred to your account once you have finished the task that has been   allocated to you and the client has verified it.
  • How can I make sure that I will get paid after work?
    Before your work gets started the payment by the client will already be stored in the escrow account and   once the client verifies your work the payment will be transferred from the escrow account to your account.
  • Can I receive payments outside of a project?
    As a Ditansource user, you are not allowed to receive payments outside of a project on the platform. This is  because Ditansource’s payment system is designed to ensure that both parties in a project are protected and  that payment is only released once work has been completed to the client’s satisfaction.
    If you receive payments outside of a project, you run the risk of violating Freelancer’s terms of service, which could result in the suspension or termination of your account. Additionally, if you work outside of a project, you may not be covered by Ditansource’s dispute resolution process or other protections.
    If you are approached by a client who wants to pay you outside of a project, it’s important to politely decline and explain that all payments must be processed through the Ditansource platform. If the client insists on paying you outside of the platform, it may be a sign that they are not legitimate, and you should be cautious about working with them.
  •  Can I get paid from outside of Ditansource?
    It is strongly discouraged and may violate Ditansource’s terms of service. Ditansource’s payment system is designed to ensure that both parties in a project are protected, and that payment is only released once work has been completed to the client’s satisfaction.
    If you receive payments outside of Ditansource, you may not be covered by Ditansource’s dispute resolution process or other protections. Additionally, if you violate Ditansource’s terms of service by accepting payments outside of the platform, your account may be suspended or terminated.
    If a client suggests paying you outside of the Freelancer platform, it’s important to politely decline and explain that all payments must be processed through Ditansource’s payment system. If the client insists on paying you outside of the platform, it may be a sign that they are not legitimate, and you should   be cautious about working with them.
  •  How do I check whether the client has sent the milestone payment or not?
    Log in to your Ditansource account and go to the project page for the project in question.
    Look for the “View Milestones” tab on the project page and click on it.
    You should see a list of all the Milestone Payments that have been set up for the project. If a Milestone Payment has been funded by the client, the “Paid” column will show the amount that has been funded.

Messaging

  • How do I send a message?
    The client can initiate the conversation with the freelancer/intern after hiring or inviting them for a project.
  • How do I open a chat?
    Log in to your Freelancer account.
    Click on the “Messages” icon in the top right-hand corner of the page.
    Write your message in the text box and click “Send” to send the message.
    You can also click on an existing chat thread to continue a previous conversation. Ditansource allows you to communicate with other members via chat to discuss project details, ask questions, and negotiate terms.
  • Who can I message?
    On Ditansource, you can message other members who are part of your project, including employers, freelancers, and interns.
  • What kind of message can I send to someone
    You can discuss project details: If you are working on a project together, you can use the chat feature to discuss project details, timelines, requirements, and any other information related to the project.
    You can ask questions: If you have any questions for the other member, you can ask them through the chat feature. This can be a quick and easy way to get answers to your questions.
    You can negotiate terms: If you are an employer and you are negotiating terms with a Ditensource, or if you are a freelancer and you are negotiating terms with an employer, you can use the chat feature to discuss the terms of the project.
    You can build a relationship: The chat feature can also be used to build a professional relationships with other members. You can use it to stay in touch with co-workers, collaborators, or clients and to discuss potential future projects.
  • Can I un-send a message once it has been sent?
    The Ditansource chat system does not have an “un-send” feature that allows you to retract a message once it has been sent. Once you send a message, it is immediately delivered to the recipient’s inbox and cannot be undone.
  • Where can I find my messages?
    Log in to your Freelancer account.
    Click on the “Messages” icon in the top right-hand corner of the page.
    This will take you to your Freelancer inbox, where you can view all your messages.
    The left-hand column of the inbox displays all your message threads. Click on a thread to view the conversation.
    The right-hand column displays the messages in the selected thread, with the most recent message at the bottom.

Payment and Billing

  • What fees does Ditansource charge? How much does Diatansource charge?
    Freelancer/Intern Service Fee

    We charge a fee of 14.5% for Stripe transfers and 16.5% for PayPal transfers on the milestone value. This fee covers the cost of running the platform and providing customer support to both clients and freelancers.
    Client Service Fee
    As a client on a freelancing platform, it’s important to understand the fees that you will be charged for   using the platform to find and hire freelancers for your projects. Most freelancing platforms charge fees   based on a percentage of the project’s total value or the amount of money paid to the freelancer.
    On our platform, we charge a fee as stated below on basis of the Payment method used, on the amount paid to the freelancer, whichever is low. This fee covers the cost of running the platform, maintaining a secure payment system, and providing customer support to both clients and freelancers.
    PayPal  7% of the amount + $0.49
    Stripe 6.4% of the amount + $0.30
    Ditansourse does not charge anything for creating and applying for a project.
  • I cannot connect my PayPal/ Stripe account.
    Verify your account:
    Make sure that your Freelancer account is fully verified. You may not be able to connect your PayPal or Stripe account if your Freelancer account is not fully verified.
    Check your PayPal or Stripe account: Ensure that your PayPal or Stripe account is active and in good standing. If there are any issues with your account, you may need to resolve them before you can connect it to Freelancer.
    Clear your browser cache and cookies: Sometimes, clearing your browser’s cache and cookies can help resolve issues with connecting payment accounts.
    Try a different browser: If clearing your cache and cookies doesn’t work, try using a different browser to connect your payment account. Some browsers may have compatibility issues with Freelancer’s platform.
    Contact Freelancer support: If none of the above steps work, you can reach out to Ditansource’s support team through contact@ditansource.com for assistance. They may be able to provide additional guidance or troubleshoot the issue on their end.
  • How do I withdraw money from my account?
    Log in to your account.
    Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the screen.
    Select “Account” from the dropdown menu.
    Choose the withdrawal method you prefer (e.g., PayPal or Stripe).
    Click on the “transfer” button to complete the withdrawal process.
    Please note that there may be fees associated with some withdrawal methods, and processing times can vary depending on the method you choose. It’s always a good idea to check the fees and processing times before selecting a withdrawal method.
  • When will my withdrawal be processed?
    The processing time for your withdrawal on Freelancer depends on the withdrawal method you choose.
  • Is there a cut-off time for submitting a withdrawal?
    Ditansource does not have a specific cut-off time for submitting a withdrawal, as you can initiate a withdrawal request at any time. However, it’s important to note that the processing time for your withdrawal may vary depending on the payment method you choose and other factors, so it’s always a good idea to plan and allow plenty of time for your withdrawal to be processed.
    If you need your funds to be processed urgently, it’s a good idea to choose a payment method with a faster processing time.
  • I entered an incorrect PayPal account when requesting a withdrawal. What should I do?
    If you have entered an incorrect PayPal account when requesting a withdrawal on Ditansource, you should contact Ditansource’s customer support team as soon as possible to report the issue. It’s important to act quickly, as once a withdrawal has been processed, it cannot be reversed.
  • How can I delete my payment accounts?
    To delete your Stripe or PayPal account, navigate to your account page and select “Delete Stripe Account” or “Delete PayPal Account” respectively. If you wish to remove only external bank account associated with your Stripe connect account, click on “View External Bank Account”, you’ll be redirected to Bank details page.
